The company also placed 65th worldwide and 38th in Asia-Pacific among the Top 100 reports selected from entries submitted globally, up 24 spots and 10 spots, respectively, from last year's rankings of 89th and 48th. The report was also named to Korea's Top 20 Reports and recognized as an outstanding report for technical achievement.
The award-winning 2024 Sustainability Report covered, in the environmental category, the expansion of eco-friendly products and services, reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and energy use, and achievements in resource circulation through recycling. In the social category, it introduced efforts to build a positive corporate culture, safety management for customers and employees, and consumer-centered management activities. In the governance category, it addressed strengthened shareholder management and shareholder-friendly policies, transparent information disclosure, and the company's risk management system.
Since publishing its first Sustainability Report in 2022, LOTTE rental has released the report for five consecutive years, disclosing its ESG management performance. The company also published its 2025 Sustainability Report this past June. The full report is available on the sustainability management page of LOTTE rental's corporate website.
A LOTTE rental official stated, "Winning the Grand Award for two consecutive years and climbing in the global rankings reflects recognition of both our ESG management performance and how we communicate it."
